NHS App to be used as a Covid pass for overseas travel

The NHS app (not the NHS Covid App) will be used as a digital pass for overseas travel this summer the transport secretary has announced today. It is easy to download and takes 20 minutes to complete, you’ll need verification with either your passport or driving licence. It links to all your medical records and immunisations will be shown.

UPDATED: 28/04/2021

Paper proof of vaccine will also be accepted short term but this is in the knowledge that this will increase border queues at airports. We should know in the next week or so on whether other countries will accept the NHS App (and or paper) as proof of vaccination too.
